The Personality of Print

Fashion and self-expression are so closely tied to identity, and that's one of the reasons I love getting dressed. The clothes you choose, the accessories you add, and the way you bring a look together can say so much about who you are, what you’re feeling, and how you want to show up that day.

When you want your wardrobe to feel a little more alive, prints are a beautiful place to start. Printed tops, patterned pants, bold dresses, and designed pieces make styling feel easier because the print already gives the outfit a statement. In fact, it gives the look something to say before you even add the shoes, the bag, or the jewelry.

A great print can turn an everyday outfit into something more memorable. It can feel playful, colorful, romantic, bold, classic, or even a little mystical depending on the pattern, color story, and shape. That's what makes printed pieces so fun to style; they give you a starting point, a mood, and a little more room to express yourself.

Let the Print Lead

The easiest way to wear prints is to let them be the focus. Let the pattern take up space and build the rest of the look around it. If the print is bold, keep the styling more grounded with a simple sandal, a neutral bag, or clean jewelry so the outfit feels styled without becoming too busy.

If the print is softer, you have more room to play. You can add texture, layer with denim, bring in a pop of color, or choose accessories that pull from one of the shades in the pattern.

Prints don't have to feel intimidating. They can be just as wearable as your favorite solid pieces when the shape feels good, the colors work with your closet, and the styling still feels like you.

A Wardrobe With More Character

What I love most about printed pieces is how quickly they can change the feeling of a wardrobe. They add artistic appeal, depth, and character, which makes them perfect for the days when you want your look to feel less predictable and more personal.

This season, make room for prints that feel expressive but still easy to wear. Choose the patterns that speak to your style, whether that means florals, stripes, abstract prints, soft colors, or bolder statement pieces.

Have fun with print! Let it bring something new into your wardrobe, and style it in a way that feels uniquely your own.
